Eric Minh Swenson (EMS) is a Los Angeles-based photographer and filmmaker known for his deep documentation of the contemporary art world. With over 1,500 short films and countless photo essays, he has become a visual historian of the Southern California art scene. Swenson has photographed and filmed an impressive roster of influential artists, including Chris Burden, Ed Moses, Don Bachardy, Cheech Marin, Peter Shire, and Lita Albuquerque.
