Annie Briard is an expanded photography artist making work focused on light and visual perception through the lenses of abstraction and landscape. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions including solo presentations at Espacio de Cultura Contemporánea de Cádiz in Spain, AC Institute in New York City, Union Gallery at Queen’s University, Manif d'art 10 biennale de Québec, Royale Projects in Los Angeles, as well as group shows at the Los Angeles Centre of Photography, Lincoln Film Centre New York, BBA Gallery in Berlin, the Vancouver Art Gallery, Alliance Francaise galleries and others. Briard has been awarded several international residencies, including High Desert Test Sites in Joshua Tree, California, Banff Centre for the Arts in Alberta, Canada, SIM in Reykjavik, Iceland and in the Swedish Laplands. Her work is represented by Royale Projects in Los Angeles.
